Editorial Policy

This page describes the rules every page on this site follows. If a page breaks one of them, tell us through the contact page.

Sources and dates

Any fact that could go out of date – an accounting standard, a filing rule, a tax provision, a regulator's name or role – carries a source and the date we checked it, shown at the bottom of the article. We prefer primary sources: standard-setters (IFRS Foundation, FASB), regulators (SEC, IRS, PCAOB), professional bodies (AICPA & CIMA, IMA) and, for the accounting-software guides, the vendor's own documentation. If we cannot find a reliable source for a number, the number does not go in the text.

No invented figures, no promised outcomes

We do not publish specific dollar figures, percentages, prices or statistics unless they come from a source we can name and a date we checked. Worked examples that use numbers are explicitly labeled as hypothetical. No page on this site states or implies that using the review and completion service will produce a specific grade or a guaranteed pass – grading is the instructor's decision, not ours, and any service that claims otherwise should be treated as a warning sign, here or anywhere else.

The review and completion service, disclosed

Where a page offers to have your work reviewed or completed, it says so plainly: requests are handled by a vetted subject-matter expert from our partner network, not by AccountingAssignmentHelp staff directly. We do not disguise that handoff to make it look like an in-house team, and we do not publish invented "sample" work presented as something a real student received.

No fabricated reviews

We do not publish testimonials attributed to people who do not exist, and we do not invent star ratings. Where we describe how experts are chosen, that description reflects the actual review process, not marketing copy dressed up as a quote.

Use of AI tools

Guides on this site are drafted with the help of language models and then checked against the primary sources named above before publication. A draft is not published as it comes out of a model; every fact is verified, and a person is responsible for what is published.

Independence

We do not accept payment for placement, rankings or favorable coverage in the free guides. The review and completion service is a separate, clearly labeled part of the site, not something that influences which topics we cover or what a guide says.

Corrections

Each guide shows when it was first published and, if it changes materially later, when it was last updated. If you find an error, the contact page is the fastest way to reach us.
